Ukraine expects to finance the road industry in 2018 by approximately UAH 50 billion.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan at a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday, the TCC writes citing Interfax-Ukraine.

The minister recalled that since January 1, 2018 regional roads have been transferred to the balance of local authorities. In addition, from the same date, the State Road Fund began to operate, the proceeds of which are expected in the amount of 32.6 billion UAH.

"Funds for additional budget programs will also be allocated, namely: UAH 4 billion on Go Highway, which will connect the Baltic Sea with the Black Sea, UAH 2 billion for the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky road, and 2 billion UAH for Dnipro-Tsarichanka-Kobelyaki 2 billion for Kharkov-Bogodukhov-Akhtyrka, 1 billion for Zhitomir-Chernovtsy and 0.4 billion for development of roads in Lviv region .About 6.7 billion UAH is planned to be received from customs experiment, but the exact figure will be in mid-year .Only introducing a program for traffic safety, "- said Homel n.

Recall, earlier on the allocation of state sources 47.7 billion USD for the development of the road sector said in the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
